Who is the Games for Change Hong Kong 2026 Festival for?

This Festival for people of all background — whether you are an educator, creator, researcher, designer or game developer, we welcome anyone interested in learning more about the intersection between games, interactive media, and beyond.

How do I register for the Festival?

You can register by getting a ticket through our Eventbrite link, which can found in the Tickets section above.

Are there discount available for students and/or groups?

There is a discount available for students that are currently in their studies. Please note that our team may ask for verification when registering at the reception. For groups with more than 6, please feel free to contact us for a discount.

Can I transfer my ticket to a friend or colleague if I can no longer attend?

Yes, you may transfer the ticket to another person so long as they have the purchased Eventbrite ticket for us to scan.

Are the panels and workshops included in the main ticket, or do I need to register for them separately?

All panels and workshops are included in the ticket, and you don't need to register for them to attend them.

📍 Logistics & Venue

Where is the event taking place?

The G4CHK 2026 Festival will be held at Meng Wah Complex, in the University of Hong Kong.

How do I get to the venue from the nearest train station?

The closest MTR station is HKU Station, at Exit A2. Upon exiting the station, simply follow the university directions to reach to Meng Wah Complex on the western side of HKU. Please refer to the Venue section for more details.

Is parking available at the venue, and how much does it cost?

Parking is available at HKU. Please check the HKU Estates Office for more details of parking fee.

Will the sessions be recorded, and will attendees have access to them after the event?

Yes, the sessions will be recorded. The recordings will be shared with attendees at a later date when recordings are available.

Can I attend the conference virtually?

Unfortunately, this event is in-person only. While we will have recordings shared with ticket holders, we highly encourage attendees to visit the Festival in-person to get the full hands-on experience throughout the day.
